This was one of three projects used in companies CMMI apprasail Tech Lead -- Technical Lead on several projects. System Admin -- Performed System Admin duties on a HP 9000 K460, with autoRaid and OmniBack; 2 Dell Linux machines Web Master -- Designed and managed a web site for the Navy Procurement Management and Reporting System. Used Apache, HTML, Javascript, Perl, Perl DBI/DBD, PHP, Web Focus, and Oracle. Web Master -- Designed and managed a web site for the FRA Enforcement Case System on a Dell 2400, running Linux 6.2. Tool developer -- Wrote tool/utilities to support a rehosting of FEMAs National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) from an IBM 370/OS to a Pyramid running Unix. Utilities included Unix versions of EDS's WAAPSPLT and WAAPDSUT, IBM SORT, JCL to KSH, data convertion utilities, and Fastsqldumper an Oracle PRO-C program for dumping data faster than Focus could. Compilied and installed PERL 5.004_67. Webmaster -- Compilied and installed Apache Web server and developed a web site to support the rehost team. Rehoster -- Ran convertion utilities, corrected and tested converted code. Rewrote Focus scripts into Oracle PRO-C programs for high preformance. |

Black Pearl was used by Office Etiquette to store scheduling information. NETalker -- Wrote a multi-way talk and voice communication program that also lets you send files by drag and drop. Think Tank -- Wrote A light weight subject threaded project management tool. Web Development -- Work on web sites for Onthego, Tischer Auto Park, Team Tischer, Little Caesar's, Fitness Effects, Olympus Gyms and Johnson's Flower and Garden centers. Database program -- Wrote a report writer for the Apgen database that was used to generate reports for a real-estate accounting and management system. Document conversion -- Converted documents from CPT, Xerox, and Wang into WordPerfect on a Gould system. Wrote a tar program for MS-DOS that wrote to a 9 track tape for transferring of the document from a PC to Gould. Phone system reports -- Wrote a PC based system that read activity logs from a North Telecom Phone Switch and generated agent and total summary reports. |

Web -- Designed and developed an initial web site for CUC. I also developed a site for the SA news paper the Columbia Journal. Internet -- Helped in getting a T1 internet connection. Setup the DNS and Mail to use Internet. Consulted -- Consulted with the Computer Science and Computer Services departments on curriculum, teaches, equipment, internet, etc. Teacher -- Taught Database System CS-250 for 3 year and Data Communications CS-380 once. |
