Born in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, on June 7, 1977. After living in Ponoka, Alberta for about nine years, I moved to Takoma Park, Maryland, USA, where my father taught physics and computers at Columbia Union College for a few years. We then moved to West Virginia. I attended boarding school at Kingsway College in Oshawa, Ontario Canada for grades eleven and twelve, and am now studying computer science at the same Columbia Union College. In my spare time I pursue my hobby of tinkering with computers (programs). I've written a few programs. My operating system of choice is Red Hat Linux - I happen to have OpenDOS installed on my machine as well for testing purposes, but I'm 100% Microsoft free. I also like classical & sacred music; if you have an especially good .MP3 or .MID file in one of those gendres, please send it to me! You can browse my collection so far by visiting the web pages hosted on my personal machine. Once in a while I even attempt to play the piano & violin :-) so if you're aware of any good web resources in this vein, I'd appreciate it if you would let me know the URL. If you want to get in contact with me, I read E-mail on the sopwith@circ.us.eu.org, sopwith@cuc.edu, and sopwith@redhat.com addresses. I'm often on the LinuxNet IRC network, channel #linux, as "Sopwith". |
